Tanunda Lutheran Home is one of the largest Aged Care Facilities outside the metropolitan area in South Australia, situated in the picturesque township of Tanunda in the heart of the Barossa Valley. The Home offers a high standard of independent living accommodation in 75 units, low care units, a state of the art High Care Facility which includes a separate palliative care suite and a dedicated dementia wings on the one site.

Tanunda Lutheran Home prides itself in offering the best of retirement living, a choice of one, two or three bedroom units, all within easy reach of local shopping, transport and recreational facilities. There are also many ancillary services accessible within the complex including physiotherapy, podiatry, gym, hairdressing salon, serviced canteen and cafe, cinema, chapel, private function facilities and bbq/courtyard areas.

A new project is underway, the first off the main site, to build an additional ten independent living units on Hoffmann Avenue, Tanunda - The Lyel Kohlhagen Estate. Many staff and volunteers live in this magnificent area and provide a service to residents of the highest quality. The home cooked meal variety along with cleaning and laundry services reach very high standards and are a welcomed option by many residents from the Independent living units.
